Distribution deal to expand this Charlotte brewery's footprint

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This Charlotte brewery is expanding its reach to the South Carolina coast.

Birdsong Brewing Co. signed a distribution deal with Bear Island Distribution.

That means its brews will be available on tap and in cans in markets including Florence, Myrtle Beach and Charleston.

“Charleston and the South Carolina coast has been on our radar for a while, and we’ve had people asking for our beer in those areas for some time,” says Chris Goulet, principal owner of Birdsong Brewing.
