Dozens at S.C. school test positive for TB

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Nearly 60 people at a South Carolina primary school have tested positive for tuberculosis.

According the The State newspaper in Columbia, the health department first learned about the potential cases in the town of Ninety-Six back in March.

Fifty-eight people, including eight children, have the bacteria but are not sick.

The state health department said they were infected by a school employee who isn't cooperating with investigators.
