CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte neighbor trying to beat the freezing temperatures early Monday morning had their car stolen, police told Channel 9.
Officers said it happened on Timberbrook Drive in west Charlotte, off Tuckaseegee Road near Interstate 85.
The victim turned on their car to warm it up but someone hopped in and drove off.
Police have not released a description of the thief or the vehicle they're looking for.
