CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the driver who crashed a stolen car through a fence overnight in northwest Charlotte, nearly hitting a house.
Channel 9 was at the scene shortly before 5 a.m. on Evantine Court, just off Brookshire Boulevard. The fence was knocked down and the car was resting against the home.
The homeowner called police after hearing the crash.
Nobody was hurt but police said the driver ran off before they arrived.
