CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A driver died early Sunday morning after crashing a pick-up truck into a utility pole in Chester County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said that around 6:14 a.m., the truck went off the side of Old York Road, overturned and hit a utility pole.
The driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the pick-up truck.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
Troopers are investigating what caused the driver to veer off the side of the road.
The driver’s name has not been released.
