KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Firefighters, police and paramedics responded to a fire at an assisted living center in Kannapolis Thursday afternoon.
The fire was intentionally set, according to Kannapolis officials. Kannapolis Police Department have a suspect and are continuing their investigation.
Emergency crews were dispatched to Cannon Creek Assisted Living on North Cannon Street around 1:30 p.m.
From Chopper 9, numerous fire engines and ambulances could be seen around the building.
There is no word right now on any injuries.
