SALISBURY, N.C. — Consumer advocate Erin Brockovich is expected to speak Monday night at Catawba College in Salisbury, focusing on ways community members can help create a healthier planet.
Brockovich recently joined the fight against North Carolina's coal ash pits.
She sent a letter to the EPA calling for federal drinking water standards to be followed at local wells.
The event starts at 7 p.m.
