Exodus Foundation schedules free expungement workshop in uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than 11,000 people returned to Mecklenburg County from state prisons over the past year.

In an effort to help clear their records, the Exodus Foundation is hosting a free expungement workshop.

The event will be held at 701 Jackson Ave. in uptown Charlotte on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m.

Attorneys will explain, at no charge, how to seal criminal records, a process that normally costs hundreds of dollars.

RSVP to the event by emailing endmassincarceration@gmail.com or check out the foundation's website.
