CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Family and friends gathered Friday night to honor a west Charlotte man who was shot and killed.
Police said Isaac Carelock's girlfriend shot him Monday on Morning Drive.
She told police Carelock was trying to force his way into her home.
"I just wanted to come together, my organization to come together so the community can see and hear the positive and positive young man that he was," said Mario Black with the Million Youth March of Charlotte.
The funeral service is Saturday afternoon at Our Lady of Consolation.
