Family of missing Catawba Co. man remains hopeful

CATAWABA COUNTY, N.C. — A family of a Catawba County man who disappeared two months ago says that they're grateful for the work of the sheriff's office and support from the community.

Ken Mohler, 71, was last seen on Aug. 16 at his job at Gregory Wood Productions in Newton.

Coworkers found his truck, keys and cellphone there the next morning.

His family said they haven't given up hope and are still handing out flyers.

There's a $2,000 reward offered in the case.
