Family upset over mess left behind at Gaston Co. cemetery

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. - Some family members are upset after utility workers left what they called a mess at a cemetery.
Workers dug a shallow trench at Gaston Memorial Park to install an underground DSL cable.
One family member came to the burial site to mark the 45th anniversary of his uncle's death.
He said there were tractor marks and muck left behind.
The memorial's director apologized for the incident and said it will be addressed.
