Fans invited to DEI headquarters to celebrate 'Dale Earnhardt Day'

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Dale Earnhardt Inc. is inviting fans to join them Friday for the 2016 Dale Earnhardt Day at the DEI Corporate Headquarters in Mooresville.

One of the highlights of this year’s commemoration will be the first public viewing of a custom statue of Dale Earnhardt, by artist Jason Fizer of Roanoke, VA.

The sculpture will be shown in private seatings throughout the day. Tickets are free, but will be limited to first come, first served.

Items from Earnhardt’s past will be on display and the Grand Showroom will be opened to the public.

A celebration of the life and legacy of, this event is held annually on his birthday. An annual tradition of Dale Earnhardt Day, custom birthday cupcakes will be provided in honor of “The Intimidator’s“ birthday.

The Dale Earnhardt Foundation will be accepting good used or new books for their Book Drive project to benefit the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope in Charlotte.

DEI will be welcoming guests from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
