LUMBERTON, N.C. — FBI officials and the Lumberton Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 20-year-old woman from Lumberton.
Officials said Abby Lynn Patterson was last seen on Sept. 5 around 11:30 a.m. when she left her home on East 9th Street and got into a brown Buick.
Patterson was wearing a white shirt and brown shorts when she was last seen, authorities said, and has not had any contact with family members or friends.
Patterson is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Officials noted that she has a tattoo of a bird on her shoulder and a birthmark on the back of her left thigh.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Abby Lynn Patterson is asked to call the FBI's Charlotte Field Office at (704) 672-6100, or the Lumberton Police Department at (910) 671-3845.
