Fire crews battle flames, smoke at Sedgefield neighborhood home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in the Sedgefield neighborhood of south Charlotte just after noon on Tuesday.

Crews were called to the scene on Lindhall Court, off Marsh Road near Park Road, and reported smoke and flames coming from a two-story home.

Paramedics told Channel 9 that one person was hurt in the fire, but only suffered minor injuries.

There was no immediate word on what may have started the fire.
