CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A trailer at Ardrey Kell High School in Ballantyne was destroyed after catching fire overnight.
Fire crews responded to a report of heavy flames at the school around midnight.

Channel 9 was on scene as firefighters assessed the damage around the back part of the school.
Investigators blamed the fire on an accidental electrical problem and said the blaze caused roughly $25,000 in damage.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg school leaders told Channel 9 that the school will accommodate classes in the media center.
