Firefighters battle raging house fire near Stallings

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Flames and smoke poured out of a home Friday afternoon in Union County as firefighters battled to get it under control.

Chopper 9 flew over the house fire on Campus Ridge Road and Ann Street near Stallings.

Stallings, Hemby Bridge and Matthews Fire departments were all called in to help battle the fire.

There are no reported injuries.

Investigators have not said what started the fire.
