CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wednesday marks the first day of Kwanzaa, and there are several celebrations in Charlotte this week for the African holiday.
On Saturday, there will be an event at the Harvey Gantt Center to celebrate Kwanzaa and learn about the culture.
