CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A fugitive wanted for a murder in London, England in 2008 was found and arrested Thursday in Charlotte, the U.S. Marshals Service said.
Kevin Omar Brown, also known as Andain Martin, a Jamaica citizen, is accused of committing the murder along with other individuals before fleeing to the U.S., where he has lived since 2011.
The U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force worked with the agency’s interntaional investigations branch to determine Brown’s location in the U.S., and narrowed down the search to the University area in Charlotte.
Brown is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail.
