Gaston Co. couple accused of abusing 4-month-old daughter

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Gaston County couple was accused of abusing their 4-month-old daughter.
 
Investigators arrested Nannette and Taylor McDaniel after medical staff at CaroMont Regional called police.
 
They said the little girl suffered from seizures and brain injuries.
 
Doctors put her in the intensive care unit at Levine Children's Hospital. The couple is scheduled to make their first appearance in court Thursday.
