Gastonia mother still looking for answers after son fatally shot

GASTONIA, N.C. — A grieving Gastonia mother is frustrated after someone shot into her home, killing her son at the beginning of May. And there were more shots fired at the house on the day of his memorial service.

Gavin Plyler was fatally shot May 6 after someone drove by and fired at least 16 rounds into the home on Park Avenue. Eight days later, someone fired another three to five shots at the house.

“No one would think they would come back again. We don’t even know why it happened the first time," smother Robyn Wilson said.

>> In the video at the top of the page, Channel 9′s Ken Lemon spoke to Wilson and learned that police are also struggling to find answers.
