NORTH CAROLINA - Gov. Pat McCrory toured storm damage in Beaufort and Chowan counties on Sunday following Friday's storm that caused damage in the area.
McCrory went with Department of Transportation Secretary Tony Tata, Department of Public Safety Secretary Frank Perry and N.C. Emergency Management Director Mike Sprayberry.
ABC affiliate WTVD reported an 11-month-old died as a result of Friday’s storm.
The storm also ripped through our area late Friday afternoon, causing several homes to be damaged by fallen trees.
