Gun owners gather for open-carry effort

GRAHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Gun owners in Graham County were packing heat at the Robbinsville Huddle House in North Carolina.

The gathering was part of an open-carry effort, the first of many being planned.

They want people to know that it is legal to open carry in North Carolina.

Organizers said they got the idea from a similar event held in a Starbucks last year.

They said open carry day will be a monthly event. It will be held the last Saturday of every month at the Huddle House.
