COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is defending her recent trips outside of Columbia.
The State newspaper reported Haley has been getting flak for recent campaign events for Mitt Romney and a trip to Japan.
But Haley said the trip to Japan was designed to bring more companies to South Carolina.
She said she always brings S.C. jobs into the conversation when she is campaigning for Romney.
