CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. - Cabarrus County health officials are warning parents about a stomach virus outbreak at an elementary school.
At least eight children at Bethel Elementary are sick.
The Health Department expects that number to grow because the bacteria is so contagious.
They say parents should watch their children for symptoms like fever and bowel problems.
Children should also wash their hands often.
