HICKORY, N.C. - Firefighters in Catawba County are calling a fire that destroyed a home in Hickory suspicious Wednesday.
Firefighters said when they responded to the home in southwest Hickory, flames were coming out the windows.
Investigators said nobody lived at the home and there was no power running to it. It may be later Wednesday afternoon before fire investigators are able to get inside to determine a cause.
