BURKE COUNTY, N.C. - The Highway Patrol in Burke County released its final numbers from its Operation Firework campaign to crack down on problem drivers.
According to a report in the Morganton News Herald, troopers charged five people with drunk driving and nearly 60 others with speeding. Troopers said 71 drivers were driving with revoked licenses.
In all, troopers handed out 115 charges, the News Herald reported.
