STANLY COUNTY, N.C. - Troopers said 83-year old Lydia Hatley caused a five-vehicle wreck after going the wrong way on Highway 52 near North Stanly High School Friday afternoon.
They say she crossed the center line, hitting another vehicle.
Three other drivers also wrecked because of the crash.
Hatley was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The other drivers are expected to be OK.
