MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — There are a lot of first responders across our area who are on the front lines fighting coronavirus.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said its officers are answering all calls, including nonemergencies. Officials said they have a plan in place if someone tests positive for the virus.
Channel 9 has heard from firefighters and paramedics who are concerned about their exposure and what it would mean.
