Huntersville PD investigates vehicle break-ins

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Huntersville police are encouraging people to lock their vehicles after break-ins in the area.

They responded to the Skybrook subdivision around midnight Tuesday after there was a report of a suspicious person and a car break-in.

Officers investigating the call located two stolen vehicles as well as several vehicles that had been broken into.

Two suspects were apprehended in the University area by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

Police want to remind people to hide any items and remove valuables from inside their vehicles.
