CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The developer building the controversial Interstate 77 toll lanes has chosen an Austrian company to control a major portion of the project.
I-77 Mobility Partners has selected Kapschtraffic.com to design and deploy all of the tolling hardware.
The company, which has its headquarters in Vienna, will supply the equipment that will calculate how much it will cost to use the express lanes at any given time.
