CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Ikea workers prepared and served Thanksgiving dinners to hundreds of homeless people in the area.
Channel 9 was there with the staff as they handed out warm meals to 200 residents from Hope Haven.
This is something Ikea has done for three years now.
"We sent a bus out to pick them up and they get to come out. They get to have a great dinner," said Brian Gott with Ikea.
Workers also gave out gifts and wrapping paper to children who came so they would have something to give to their parents or guardians over the holidays.
