Lancaster County students return to middle school month after fire

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Middle school students in Lancaster County returned to their school Tuesday, nearly two months after a devastating fire.

Andrew Jackson Middle School filled with smoke on March 1 when an electronic device in a janitor's closet caught fire.

Students had to be sent to other schools in the area.

Parents will have to navigate a new pick up and drop off area, and the school has also made several safety upgrades.
