LANCASTER, S.C. - Lancaster police are warning Verizon Wireless customers of fraudulent phone calls.
They say residents are receiving automated calls from what appears to be a valid Verizon phone number.
The recording said the customer has received a $35 credit on their account and they should visit a certain website to claim the credit.
Verizon Wireless said it's not a valid offer.
