IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina Highway Patrol responded to an accident where a car hit a rail on a bridge and knocked debris onto I-77 northbound in Iredell County.

Multiple vehicles suffered damage near Brawley School Road at Exit 35 in Mooresville, but injuries are unknown, officials say.
I-77 North had to be shut down for about one hour, North Carolina Department of Transportation officials said.
