Lanes closed on I-77 in Iredell County when tractor-trailer catches fire

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Part of I-77 in Iredell County is shut down after a tractor-trailer caught on fire.

Crews were called to the fire at 9:30 a.m. Saturday near mile marker 65, the West Memorial Highway exit.

Officials said lanes were closed and no one was injured in the fire.

Crews haven’t said what caused the tractor-trailer to catch fire or when the lanes will reopen.
