Last chance to receive hepatitis A vaccinations today

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Monday is the last day for people to receive hepatitis A vaccinations if they think they were exposed after eating pizza from a northeast Charlotte Papa John's.

Officials said a manager at the Papa John's on Cambridge Commons Drive contracted the virus overseas.

If you still need to be vaccinated, the Cabarrus Health Alliance is offering free shots from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday and no appointments are necessary.
