Levine Cancer Institute employees break out in flash mob for patients

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Employees dressed in festive outfits at the Levine Cancer Institute surprised patients Thursday with a holiday flash mob.

They performed for adults in the morning and for younger patients in the afternoon.

One patient, who recently received chemotherapy, said it was a joyful time.

“The fact that they did this on the side, you can tell they put a lot of effort into it and they really cared,” cancer patient Susann Hayes said. “I thought it was a really nice thing for them to do."
