Lincoln Co. man charged with sexual assault of child

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Lincoln County Sheriff's detectives have charged a western Lincoln County man with child sexual assault charges.
 
Ricardo Miguel Magallanes, 32, of Lincolnton, was arrested on Friday on two felony counts of first-degree sexual offense.
 
Lincoln County Department of Social Services notified the Sheriff's Office about the incidents which occurred last week at the home of the 11-year-old female victim. Magallanes is a friend of the family, police said.
 
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to be filed.
 
Magallanes is being held in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond.

WSOC
