LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Lincoln County school leaders are trying to figure out how to use a unique donation to help stop bullying.
An anonymous donor dropped off 60,000 pennies for the district to use against bullies.
Leaders are considering using the money donated to buy “bully buckets” for elementary schools.
If a student witnesses bullying and is afraid to report it they can drop a note in the bucket and remain anonymous.
