CHARLOTTE, N.C. — New homes are popping up all over the Charlotte region, but developers told Channel 9 they’re feeling the financial squeeze from tariffs.

The finishing touches you see inside a lot of new construction, like nice countertops, cabinets, light fixtures and tile, all come from China, and they're getting more expensive because of tariffs.
