MINT HILL, N.C. - A Mint Hill neighborhood fed up with its water company is getting help from Florida residents.
This summer, Eyewitness News showed tap water from Ashe Plantation residents, who said they’re tired of filthy water and high bills from Aqua North Carolina.
“Flow Florida,” which successfully lobbied to get Aqua removed for the state, will meet with local communities served by Aqua on Nov. 13.
Channel 9 was also told state lawmakers would be at the meeting.
