GASTONIA, N.C. — Allen Sinclair, 25, is in the Gaston County jail under a $1 million bond and is accused of producing child pornography involving a 4-year-old girl.
Eyewitness News reporter Trish Williford was in court Thursday and heard the charges brought against him.
A magistrate and Lowell police said on two occasions in April, Sinclair took pornographic pictures of himself with the girl including one of her innocently playing with toys as he stood over her.
Lowell police have not said how they uncovered the crime.
Sinclair is charged with first- and second-degree exploitation of a minor as well as charges of indecent liberties with a child.
Sinclair has a lengthy rap sheet including breaking and entering and larceny charges
