CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Mallard Creek High School student was arrested for having a gun at school.
After an anonymous tip, the school resource officer found the weapon in the 16-year-old's car on Monday.
The school sent a message to parents saying no one was threatened and that student is facing weapons charges.
