ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — An Anson County man is accused of letting at least one of his farm animals starve to death.
Gerald Rhynes is facing two felony counts of animal cruelty and 14 misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.
Rhynes has up to 300 animals on his Wadesboro farm and one alpaca was so weak and thin that it had to be euthanized.
A veterinarian is checking the health of the other animals.
