CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested and charged a man accused of attempted to rob five Charlotte businesses in 1 ½ hours on Friday.
Officers said 39-year-old Stephen Robbins has been charged with three counts of attempted common law robbery and two counts of attempted larceny.
Police said Robbins robbed the Family Dollar on East Independence Boulevard, Super G Mart on East Independence Boulevard, CVS on Village Lake Drive and Queen Soul Food on East Independence Boulevard and Mi Barrio Halal Latin Grill on East Independence Boulevard.
