NORTH CAROLINA - A man is headed to Walter Reed Military Medical Center on Saturday.
Robert Eisenstein organized a holiday card drive.
His goal was to deliver a thousand Christmas cards to hospitalized veterans being treated in Maryland.
Eyewitness News checked in with him this morning and he had collected more than 1,500 cards.
He will take the extra cards that he collected to the
Veterans Hospital in Salisbury and Fayetteville.
