MINT HILL, N.C. - Police in Mint Hill have arrested a man after another man was shot multiple times late Monday night.
Officers said 26-year-old Sam Clonts has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury after 25-year-old Brandon Allen was shot multiple times on Bush Creek Lane just before midnight.
Allen was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center in critical condition.
Officers told Channel 9 the shooting started with an argument and that the men knew each.
Clonts is behind bars at the Mecklenburg County Jail.
