Man escapes after robbing Concord hotel at gunpoint

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord police are searching for the man they said robbed a hotel late Friday night.

Detectives said the man walked into the Hampton Inn on Dickens Place around 11:30 p.m., flashed a gun and demanded money from a hotel employee.

The robber then left in a vehicle but employees could not provide a good description of it.
