CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A Charlotte man charged with first-degree murder is scheduled to face a judge for the first time on Monday.
Police arrested James Daye on Saturday morning. Daye has been accused of shooting and killing Walter Gregory.
Officers found Gregory dead while they were responding to an assault call on Hunting Ridge Lane off Ildewilde Road late Friday night.
Police say Dye and Gregory knew each other and had an ongoing dispute.
