ALBEMARLE, N.C. - The man charged with shooting and killing two people at their Albemarle home more than five years ago will spend life in prison.
It only took a jury an hour and 20 minutes to find Gary Sells guilty of shooting Shirley Rummage, 73, and Ricky Lowder, 48.
He was sentenced to two life terms without the possibility of parole.
Police said Sells was the ex-boyfriend of Rummage and lived in the house where the victims were found.
